We are always seeking interns and skills-based volunteers to work with us to catalyse the movement to end extreme poverty. Through volunteering with the Global Poverty Project, you will gain practical experience and insight into community education, as well as build networks in the field of aid and development.
"I had the most amazing experience at the Global Poverty Project...it was a fantastic opportunity to learn the ins and outs of community project design in a fun, loving environment. It was rewarding to work on something that is important and will have a positive impact on so many lives. I would recommend this internship for anybody interested in poverty, community development or just a keen interest in making a positive impact on those people less fortunate than us.” - Kim Salmond , Autumn Intern, 2009
“Having personally borne witness to extreme poverty while in Africa I had wondered "what can done about this?" GPP provides an opportunity to apply skills of my trade and do something.” - Sheldon Johnston, Skills-based Volunteer, 2009
